As of June 17, 2015 11:49am PST, we are working to resolve the following service incident:
Outbound email delays affecting some customers on our west coast data center.
- 12:23pm PST: We are working to resolve the cause of the outbound delay affecting some customers in our west coast data center.
- 12:44pm PST: Still working to resolve the cause of the outbound delay affecting some customers in our west coast data center.
- 1:05pm PST: We are working to resolve the underlying cause for the outbound delays affecting some customers.
- 1:45pm PST: The issue with outbound delays has now been resolved & tickets will be processed as normal. Postmortem to follow.
This incident was caused by a routine upgrade of one of our mail processing servers. Increasing capacity and improvements to our testing procedures will help avoid similar occurrences going forward.
