1:28am UTC / 6:28pm PST:
The issue with accessing Zopim has been resolved.
This incident occurred during a planned maintenance change, in which some Zopim configurations were accidentally overwritten.
Our Operations team will look to leverage some tooling for better code/scripting review before deploying to production environments. During this disruption, we also encountered a time consuming effort to restore configurations. We aim to discuss backing up configs locally, or some other central file system, to help in the event of reverting large config changes/builds; even if the configurations are for new services and have no impact.
