This incident may be related to a previous outage affecting the same data centers that day.
During this incident, customers hosted in two of our data centers may have noticed slowness in their Zendesk. This was related to an external routing service issue. As such, to recover, we needed to migrate affected IP traffic away from the device suspected to be the origin of the issue. Once the service migration was completed, the impacted IP traffic stabilized. The equipment vendor has been engaged as the root cause investigation for this case is ongoing.
