We’ve received reports of customers briefly having access issues on one of our west coast data centers. Performance is improving as we speak.

The performance issues have stabilized. We'll continue to keep a close eye on it. Post-mortem to follow here.
It was found that the cause of this issue was a combination of high traffic to this data center along with an ill-timed and inefficient monitoring service. The combination of these two strained the proxy which started to drop traffic. The issue self-resolved before action could be taken by our operations teams.
The investigation of this issue found the monitoring service could be implemented in a way to run more efficiently without customer impact and was updated to do so.
