We had a brief issue with one of our data centers which should now be resolved. Apologies for the inconvenience!
This incident began when a database server in our EU data centre became unresponsive, resulting in no write activity. Upon receiving a set of alerts, our database admin team activated server failover, which resumed normal write operations. We observed some increased and sustained database activity on this server but are still investigating this incident further - however, our early findings may suggest that the creation of a spam account that initiated a bulk user import and bulk mailing caused the spike. Once this account was cancelled, server activity returned to normal state.
