Access issues affecting Zendesk services for some customers have now been resolved.
A DDoS attack resulted in brief service disruption at our data center. Once the target and vector were identified, we immediately leveraged our DDoS mitigation service. The attack subsided and service was restored to normal.
After this attack subsided, an internet service provider experienced related issues impacting performance and service availability for some customers at our West Coast datacenter. Customers reported degraded performance and service disruption. Upon discovery of the cause, we disabled this specific path and leveraged a backup circuit. Our vendor acknowledged the issue and service was restored.
