Issues impacting performance for some customers have now been resolved.
This incident was caused by a backup uploaded to one of our external cloud storage services. This led to a network congestion and manifested itself in slow performance of Zendesk for some customers, and services such as attachment uploads were operating with delays for most.
To recover, we killed backup uploads, which de-saturated our internet connections. We're currently reviewing the need to upload backups to this service to avoid slowdowns going forward.
