We are happy to report that the performance issue impacting our European Data Center is now resolved. Thanks for your patience.
This incident was identical to the service disruption on the previous day (further detail here). A small number of customers reported getting green screens and white pages at random. The occurrence was not consistent and did not seem to impact any other data centers or accounts. The root cause of the issue was determined to be a capacity issue on one of the app nodes. To resolve the incident, we increased the capacity of app nodes and launched additional servers into rotation.
Aside from various projects aimed at increasing capacity, we are working to improve the code in the controller so that green screens are avoided in these conditions.
