Incident causes have been identified and the green screen problems are now resolved.

We are receiving reports of green screens for some customers. Investigation is underway.
A scheduled change for improving capacity by bringing up a new load balancer in parallel with an existing load balancer caused a network blip, leading to green screens for some customers for no more than 5 minutes. To resolve the issue, requests to the new load balancer were removed and routed to the old load balancer. In the future we will perform this maintenance operation with appropriate scheduled maintenance notifications.
