We have confirmed an issue with our voice provider routing calls to North American toll-free numbers. We will provide updates as available.

We are investigating inbound voice issues with US toll free numbers. We will provide further information shortly.
This was a carrier-level issue with our voice provider and was not a result of any Zendesk infrastructure failures or outages. A certain percentage of inbound calls were failing before any interaction with Zendesk, and customers were hearing a message saying the number was out of service. Any inbound traffic outside of the US was not affected. Outbound call termination traffic was not affected.
Once inbound call service was restored at the carrier, inbound Voice service was also restored for Zendesk customers.
