Chat Customers experienced degradation in widget registration, dashboard login, and the chat widget disappearing. The root cause of this incident was due to an AWS memcache cluster node failure. To prevent this from happening again, we’ll be creating a new backup cluster along with a clearer runbook for our operations teams to speed up resolution.
