Earning a product certification can open doors to new job opportunities, higher pay and more exposure for your business. In a competitive market like ours, why simply talk about your expertise when you can prove it?
We advise you check out the exam guide for more detail but generally, a Zendesk Certified Support Administrator possess the knowledge and skills necessary to implement, configure, and manage an Enterprise account of Zendesk Support. They have hands-on experience completing day-to-day operational tasks needed to manage a Zendesk Enterprise instance. It is minimally recommended that this candidate has:
- a minimum of 3 months of consistent use as a Zendesk Support Administrator
- successfully completed Zendesk training or equivalent training
The 78-question, 105-minute exam is offered through a network of 900+ worldwide testing centers. We also offer the exam online using biometric software and 1:1 live proctoring. Your result will be available as soon as you complete the exam.
Zendesk allows the use of either an external camera or your built-in, internal computer camera. Whatever you choose, we suggest a review of the "Preparing for your Exam" .PDF (at the bottom of this article) to read all about the requirements for taking the exam in an online proctored environment.

The Zendesk Support Administrator exam costs $350 USD
You will receive a pass/fail notification immediately after completing the exam. You will also receive topic level feedback on your exam performance.
If you did not pass the exam, you will be able to purchase and retake the exam after a 15-day waiting period.
Exam fees are fully refundable up to 72 hours before your scheduled appointment for a proctored Test in a Testing Center, and up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment for an online-proctored Test. Simply log into your Webassessor account to make the changes necessary. Any cancellations or reschedules after 72 and 24 hours respectively, will incur an additional $250 USD ($260 USD Internationally) fee.
When you pass the exam, you’ll receive a certificate and access to a Zendesk certified logo that you can use on social media, your email footer, business cards and anywhere else you like! If you want to verify a person's Zendesk certification please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In order to maintain the Zendesk Support Administrator credential, Zendesk requires that you recertify on our master exam biennially (every 2-years), to stay current with our product. Zendesk will communicate with you in advance of your credential expiration and remind you to register for your exam before your credential expires.
